Air duct heaters are mainly used to heat air in air ducts (air ducts). The specifications are divided into three types: low temperature, medium temperature and high temperature. What the three specifications have in common in structure is the use of steel plates to support the electric heating pipe to reduce the vibration of the electric heating pipe in the air flow; an over-temperature control device is installed in the junction box, which can cut off the heating when the temperature is over-temperature to ensure safe operation. It is often used with normal pressure air supply systems such as drying rooms, drying lines, and air conditioning units.

Selection FAQ

What is the difference between a duct heater and an air heater?

The air duct heater is installed on the cross section of the air duct (air duct) to directly heat the air flowing through the air duct. It is often used in conjunction with drying rooms, drying lines, air conditioning units, etc.; the ducted air heater is an independent device with a pressure-bearing cylinder, which is suitable for process occasions that have higher requirements for gas pressure and temperature. If it is a normal-pressure air duct system supplied by a fan, an air duct heater is generally selected.

How to choose between low temperature, medium temperature and high temperature specifications?

Select the specifications corresponding to the temperature level according to the target air outlet temperature. When selecting, please inform us of the air volume, inlet air temperature and target outlet air temperature. We will determine the temperature level and calculate the installed power. Commonly used power covers 30KW-240KW and can be customized.

What safety protection does a duct heater have?

The junction box is equipped with an over-temperature control device, which can cut off the heating when the temperature is over. In engineering, it is usually interlocked with the fan (no heating when there is no wind), and the interlock control can be configured as needed.

Will the electric heating tube vibrate and be damaged under the impact of fan airflow?

The structure uses steel plates to support the electric heating pipes to reduce the vibration of the electric heating pipes in the air flow and improve the reliability of use. It is suitable for air ducts where fans supply air.
